Lapping at Namao - August

Postby TheBigF on Mon Jul 12, 2010 4:26 pm

Hi all. My info is that NASCC will be hosting lapping at their August 21/22 Race @ Namao. I've emailed them for more information. I'll put it up here when I get it.

Last year it was $200 I think for 4 hours of track time, first thing in the morning and again over the lunch break. A bargain and bags of fun. Bring your slicks. See you there.

Sounds like a blast - I'll have to see how my kumhos are doing for wear. Surely 4 hours of lapping will destroy them.

Sadly, I will be in Vancouver for most of the month of August.

Have fun.

I don't think I can do more than 5 laps without topping up the oil! :)

I'm in, both days (we have to have a back-marker right?). To those that are attending - I find the track is surprisingly easy on tires. Mind you, that's likely because my car is only about 1200 - others may have differing opinions. They are running clockwise I believe, so the lefts take most of it.

These sessions are a good opportunity for test and tune on your car BTW - run for an hour, 3 hours off, run for another hour, afternoon off, do it again tomorrow. Bring your tool box.

Note that Competition Licenses are not required for lapping, that information is for the Race Registration.
